Why we don't see anything sacred or beautiful in this country?

Q: Why we don't see anything sacred or beautiful in this country?

In our country, we find everything sacred. Because of that, we risk so much so that our country can be beautiful again. If we didn't think so, we would be somewhere else, along with children and families of those who brought our country in this situation. They don't find anything sacred in this country, that's why they left it so easily in the time like this.

Q: Why is destruction just a line in TV news to us, fore coming night just a afternoon chitchat, and even lack of electricity and water are told as jokes?

Because in past eight years, we've seen too much of destruction and death in something that once was our country. Each and everyone of us is finding their own way to protect themselves from nightmare we're living in. Serbs have always been well known for their black humor that is used as a defence against reality. By turning the war in casual gossip and chitchat during afternoon coffee break, people are trying to trivialize horrors and remain sane.
