Why is NATO bombing Serbia?
Q: You have the most civilised voice from Serbia what I found so far, and I hope you represent a lot of Serbians. You do not agree with the NATO bombing, so what do you think why they doing it?
NATO faced Milosevic with bombardment numerous of times before and he always signed some of demands and was giving a lot of promises. They threatened him one more time to sign Ramboullie document and he refused. Probably NATO thought that whole world would laugh at them (NATO/Americans) if they one more time don't fulfill their threats. That's what new generation of politicians is - like children. NATO said that there is no way out to stop humanitarian catastrophe but to start bombing "campaign". And once it's started it hard to stop it. So, the real humanitarian catastrophe is born, not only in Kosovo region, but also in whole Serbia (Yugoslavia).
Q: They do not understand the situation and got it all wrong and making mistake after mistake?
That's right.
Q: They don't like Serbia and the Serb people so when it is an excuse they show it?
Don't believe in that. Besides reasons listed in aswer to your first question, it's maybe a show off who is The Great Power in the world now.
Q: They want to help the Kosovo refugees and this is the best they can do (being a military organisation)?
We think they do want to help Kosovo refugees, but they did it all wrong. There were thousands of refugees before bombardment, now we have hundreds of thousands refugees. That is the fact, not propaganda.
Put yourself in position of an ordinary citizen of Kosovo. You live in hostile environment. There was KLA and there was Serbian police/army shooting at each other with some "collateral damage" done - no one cares. And both of them want to draft you for its side. But you learnt to live with it. Then bombardment started. If you are very lucky you have shelter. KLA and police/army intensified their "actions" and they need more men. When no KLA member or police/army member is shooting at you, bombs are falling around. What would you do -- get the hell out of there, of course. No one wants to be killed for no reason. We believe that a lot of ordinary people were thinking in the same way.
Q: It is a great occasion to expand and in the same time cut off Russia's only access to the Mediterrian sea?
Don't know. Maybe. Cold war passed only 10 years ago and a lot of "games" are played. It's too bad innocent people are killed, but they (America/Russia) can live with it -- people who are killed are not Americans nor Russians.
