A story from Montenegro

After the first NATO attacks, the following things started to happen in Boka Kotorska:

There are 30% citizens of the Croatian nationality in Boka Kotorska. As I know, during the previous time, there were no real problems between communities of various nationalities. At least not public ones. Although, situation was slightly tensed after the war in Croatia and Bosnia. However, after the first attacks, encouraged Croatian extremists started to distribute leaflets calling Croats openly to start a civil war and to provoke nonCroats, like my family. Them personally, especially my brother, were exposed on several occasions to these upsetting behaviour.

All this complicates already complex situation between the supporters of Djukanovic and Bulatovic. People are confused because there is no one they can trust - the trust into the West disappeared with the first air raids, as well as the trust in all that 'western' democracy was expected to bring. My parents, who supported reforms and prowestern policy of Milo Djukanovic, have no one to support now being disappointed in western system.
