We sleep like rabbits

I am writing this with bombs and planes above my head. Since 11 AM this morning, every half an hour, one bomb strikes. The majority explodes away from here, in Slatina airport area, airfields and mines in Obilic, in the area of Belacevac and villages near Lipljan.

I pray the God, that one doesn't strike near me while I am writing, to allow me to finish this letter. O.K, I don't mean really me (God forbid), but some cable or relay, etc. It was the same last night, when they started in the crack of dawn. And it was the hardest between three and five o'clock. At least two bombs would strike in intervals of ten or less minutes. Luckily, none of them in Kosovo Polje, but on the outskirts.

They are striking dot-size targets, as they say at NATO briefings.

...Wooow... A horrible sound of low-flight plane interrupted me. Everything shook... while I turned my head to the window I could only hear distant echo towards Goles and thunder. I didn't hear the explosion.

Let me return to the subject. It is obvious that the weather serves them well. It was beautiful, quiet, clear skies last night. We went to bed in fear. Yes, my dear friends, we don't go to the basements anymore, at least most of us doesn't. At the beginning of the war, there were up to forty people in our basement, and now, just my family is in the house. And me and my darling are in our bed from the first day.

When a stronger one strikes, we go down to the basement. It is all up to our ears now. We sleep like rabbits. And everyone sharpened their audit.

A child can know the difference between an unmanned and regular aircraft. And between tomahawks and bombs. Last night I unofficially found out that over twenty missiles struck only Slatina and the area surrounding the airfield and 15 ended up in the vicinity of Pristina, especially village Sofija and Grmija Park, above the city. They are targeting the area around Slatina and Belacevac again, and two struck near Gracanica around 12 and several more near Lipljan.

That is all. I hope I will be able to write again if everything is O.K. with the phone lines, etc.

Regards

    16:00

Since 15:00 you can hear strong and constant bombardment in Kosovo Polje plains between Goles and Grmija.
A lot of missiles ended up near Slatina and airfield barracks, towards Belacevac and Veternik (a hill above Kosovo Polje) towards Lipljan.
Our boys are striking back, I have no information on shot down missiles, although there were many launches.
