The Russians are coming

    My respects to you all. I have just returned from the city, The welcoming party was magnificent. The city had never been filled with more people ... (aged) from 7 to 77 and I mean that literally ... Both old and young, and flags and flowers and tears and hugging and kissing and greetings and sirens ... there was also vodka ... if any bigger (the welcome) we could have scared them. If anyone knows what Prishtina looks like, for I know that media who were there will not show this in the real picture, people were lined up from the very entrance into the city, from Podujevo, from the old marketplace towards the theatre and throughout the centre of the city, along the Hotel "Grand", to the large intersection - it was that crowded that you could not have fit a needle in there. I tell you - I was even more happier about seeing all those Serbian people than I was about Russians being the first to get to us. The whole world can see how many Serbs have remained here, and that is only from the city area. And that NATO had received a knock-out, they sure did, and what a punch it was, I do not think they will forgive the Russians. I personally think this (move by Russians) was a payback for Bosnia. It is important they are here. WE will not have to watch guard tonight, as part of the convoy is stationed exactly in front of my street. And we feel very safe. But there are some reservations, just in case. A very large part of the convoy had bypassed the town and headed straight towards the Slatina Airport next to Golesh. So that confused NATO will be welcomed by a Russian smile and their equipment. During the night, by air, or by road, another large part of Russian troops is expected to arrive. Luck can be a fickle mistress, and what is installed for us, we are yet to see. Unfortunately, first wave of Metohija region refugees have started arriving into the city around 7 pm. There are already several thousands of them and have all been placed into the student residences and sport halls. Each of them has only had several hours to get their things together and leave their houses under threats of KLA terrorists, and were forced to run to save their lives. (From) Prizren, Djakovica, Malisevo... and we still do not know the exact number of places our people have been arriving from. Yes, what we were fearing did happen. The so called "Vacuum zone" did occur. Our forces have withdrawn and terrorists have immediately charged at the people. I still do not have any detailed information about the situation in Metohija region. So much from me for today, for one very eventful, exciting and fickle day. WITH FAITH IN GOD, FOR GOD IS WITH US ... FOR THE HONOURABLE CROSS AND GOLDEN FREEDOM.
