A view from the other side

Life can get pretty ironic...

    Hi Kurt

Things are looking really bad at the moment. I dont know how long the politicians will squabble before we come home. Its strange how something like a game (gp2) can change the way you look at things. Only a month ago I was receiving credit from slobadan for work on the press room now the country that I have sworn aligence to is bombing him. You spend along time waiting qaand thinking around here. I have been Involved in conflict before both In the gulf and in N. Ireland but this is the first time that I am starting to see real people involved in the sadness of conflict that i have spoke to before hand. The wonderful world of e-mail and the Internet has gave me contact with people who live all over the world and most recently Belgrade (slobadan) maybe one day the Internet will one day bring people together... truly regardless of the religion colour or creed. I also hope that slobandan does not take an understandable disliking to me. I dont know if your in contact with slobadan but if you are,I would like you to wish him well from me. I joined the Army because I believed that we are there to fight for the Innocent and the weaker. I still feel that now but Isn't it a shame that normal people are pitted against each other because of the powers that be. I wish the whole of the gpgl well and hope to be home at the press room soon.
