The first informations war
If there is something unclear to anyone about the policy of our media
and if anyone thinks that any of our media is capable of leading
informations war, I have to tell you the following:
The only task RTY (Yugoslav Broadcasting System) or RTS (Serbian
Broadcasting System) had during the past fifty years was the
indoctrination of this country's population. That is, broadcasting
news from the country and abroad to the people. For this reason,
Belgrade Television had the campaign of which CNN and all the other
station in the world could only dream of, to support the 1974
Constitution, which, very quickly, brought us to this situation. The
Constitution was adopted, as you well know. So, the target group of
all of our media is this people, and not the world. Therefore, try to
interpret every sentence you hear on TV or radio as a need to clasify
the agressor as fascistic. The only thing our media are telling is
that history will prove them right. Nothing else, not even some
serious preparation of the people for this kind of bombings is not
among the first ten goals this media should achieve. They simply don't
know how it is being done. It sounds incredible, but all ! the news
are yesterdays, as well as the postures. The media still clame that NA
TO will target only military, and not civilian objects, although it is
quite cl ear that they have changed tactics. As far as for Internet,
thank God we got so mething right. It is just that we are not trained
for an informations war. The officials speak their mother tongue as it
is foreign language to them, and you don't wanna know how good are
they with foreign ones. Well, we have to fight with what we got.
