We Won the War in Two Nights and a Day

    I don't see anything ingenious in my hypothesis; but let me deconstruct it a little.

    What did Monica's boy expect:

   - at the best - surrender on early Thursday
   - at the worst - panic among the people, conflict among the political parties, surrender after a couple of days

    What did he get:

    a) extremely brave behavior of the people, and their almost incredible homogenization regarding the idea of enduring as long as necessary (OUR side etc.);

    b) relatively successful actions of the defenders which lead to the fact that losses cannot be hidden forever;

    c) relatively unpleasant reaction from Russia; I will just mention the statement about defying the embargo to the weapon distribution, which, of course, is not crucial for FRY, but can imply weapon deliveries to Iraq, Libya as well as relocation of the long distance rockets in Cuba. As for the effect on the American public, I don't think I even need to explain;

    d) negative reaction from the other allied countries; let me just give the example of the Italian parliament; and there will be more as time goes by.

    The conclusion is not difficult to draw. They did not fulfill their goal, whereas we did ours: in the first 24 hours; now time is on our side. Of course, if we agree that our goal was to survive the shock from the attack and to do our best to organize an endurable defense.

    My only mistake was that I overestimated Sexual's common sense. It is obvious that he has to endure much more shit before he admits to himself that he made a huge miscalculation when he decided to act according to his threats.
