Vranje

Vranje is an industrial center in southern Serbia. In NATO attacks a residential suburb is badly damaged. Two people were wounded while working in the field near Vranje. Irena, a 16 year old girl, was severely wounded. The day after, she died in a hospital, due to scull fracture caused by shrapnel of a NATO missile. Her father was seriously injured. Several more missiles hit the area around Vranje and caused considerable damage.

In the NATO attack a local Orthodox church was damaged.
