Aleksinac

Between 00.30 and 00.45 on 05-28-1999 more than 10 missiles hit industrial part of Aleksinac. Two missiles slammed into residential area, killing three people, and injuring many others. Ten houses were destroyed, and thirty more seriously damaged. From the beginning of the war, 29 civilians were killed in this small coal-mining town.

Five NATO missiles hit this small mining community. 17 people were killed and all of them were civilians.
There is no military infrastructure in its urban area or its surroundings.
More than 400 homes were devastated in the residential area of Aleksinac.
